So much for calling the Sask Party fiscal conservatives!
In 6 years Moe has almost doubled total provincial debt from $17 billion to $31 Billion when you include all debt.
That's a whopping $25000 per capita! Nice job Moe. And now you want to spend $1.4 billion plus on an irrigation plan that will benefit a handful of farms? More debt? That's the solution?
And what do we have to show for it? We have a dismal record when it comes to health care and education!
Scott Moe has one of the worst fiscal records in Saskatchewan history, posting 5 deficit budgets, while the Sask. Party government in general has only been able to balance a single budget in nine years. According to this year’s mid-term report, $14 billion has been added to the books since 2018, bringing the provincial debt to a record high of $31.5 billion.
