Yeah I snub flat earthers and climate change deniers who reject scientific evidence like you A5!

And you wrongly assume every farmer agrees with your dumbass "uneducated" claim that more CO2 will be god for the planet!

You claimed to be an engineer once. But I don't know how you completed any courses with your anti scientific attitudes!

Maybe you are just a "pretendgineer" that makes up shit!

Follow the science, how much C02 is produced in Canada and how much is sequestered into the soil from plants and trees?

Why don't you prove me wrong and post as prolifically throughout the work day as you do before work every morning.

I'm sure your employer would approve of your online conduct, during work hours on your work computer.

CO2 was for the last 10,000 years fairly stable. Emissions were about the same as sequestration.

But why is CO2 at 420 ppm and it was never above 300 in the last 800,000 years?

Its rising because of global CO2 emissions primarily because of burning fossil fuels. Canada's share per capita is much higher. Small in total just like most other smaller population countries.
          • Earth’s climate has always closely followed the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2), and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The concentration was as low as 180 parts per million (ppm) in the coldest part of the last ice age, 20,000 years ago. Around 10,000 years later, when the concentration increased to 280ppm, that ice age came to an end.
          • Over the last 800,000 years, the concentration of atmospheric CO2 naturally varied between 180-280ppm, but never rose significantly above 280ppm. In the 170 years since 1850, the concentration of CO2 has risen from 280ppm to more than 410ppm, primarily due to fossil fuel burning and changes in how humans use the land.
          • Left unchallenged, the increasing rate of change could see the CO2 concentration increase to about 1000ppm by 2100. Earth last experienced 400ppm of CO2 around 4 million years ago, during the Pliocene era. At this time, the average temperature was 2-4°C warmer than today, and the sea level was 10-25m higher.
          • The concentration of CO2 was last at over 1000ppm around 50 million years ago, when the average temperature was about 13°C warmer and sea level would have been around 70m higher than today because there was no (or very little) ice on the planet.
          • Crucially, today’s rate of change of CO2 concentration, which is 200 times greater than it was after the last ice age, may prevent living organisms from adapting to new conditions.
          • The lesson from the past is clear: sustained concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere above 400ppm will lead to very different conditions to those we experience on Earth today.

What percentage of C02 in the atmosphere is man made and what is the percentage of the man made C02 making up the atmosphere?

it’s almost as much as a single drop of water in a large swimming pool.

I'll find out where this was posted from in Sep at 11:11. I just sent the captured info to a friend. Been busy and forgot about this; ISP was not protected and no VPN was enabled.

Study just released 2 days ago shows that plants may absorb 31% more C02 than previously thought...
and another released 4 days ago shows the ocean may absorb 7% more...

Alot of wildly different studies going on.
Not gonna comment on climate change as im not educated enough and most of the stuff i read on the internet is not verified in scientific journals. Alot of conspiracy hogwash or heavy left/ right slant .
CERTAINLY, no matter what side of the fence you fall on... CO2 ppms in the environment are increasing. What does it mean?
unsure. nobody was alive and taking recordings 1 million years ago so its all just guesses based on models.

At the end of the day
burning less fossil fuels and stopping forests from being chopped down is a good thing. Those facts cant be disputed.

                  Also,

Im super excited to see what sort of stuff we get here ( from chuck ) during the US election next week.

Chuck , you remind me of trump a bit with all your little derogatory nicknames for everyone and everyones " silly" nicknames....low iq person... etc.. etc.

Its fascinating how the left side can do it but heaven forbid the right side does!!

                  Keep up the good work!

Are some of you guys having trouble keeping up and coming up with good posts?

So how is the antiscience pretendgineer libertarian doing this morning?

Completely avoiding talking about the science of climate change in any case! Leaving it to Flipper who is still stuck on how small the amount of CO2 is in the air?

A5 you got the melting polar ice badly wrong. Citing an out of date link that NASA says is an outlier.

You say more CO2 is good for us which no scientists or provincial premier is saying. Even Smith never says this.

What other dumbass things are going to say and do today? That is the question.

Other than cheering on my other lame critics? And regressing to personal attacks because you can't come up with an intelligent response.

Thanks to Trump and PP insulting, name calling and putting down your opponents is perfectly acceptable now.

Of course on Agrisilly as long as the insults and attacks are against your critics, you are perfectly fine with them in your typical double standard. Rules are for the other guys!

You can dish it out but you can't take it!

Yep, GoalieGuy, Americans must be mentally constructing a vision for January 2025 when new government is sworn in. What will US look like tomorrow? The impact of those votes will shake the world. It appears to me that each state has its own election process. California votes with no ID requirement, other states are verifying non-residents. There doesn’t seem to be an election standard across the board. Seems weird to me but who am I?

Many Conservatives have fallen so far into the hyper partisan septic tank that they support Trump the fascist wanna be dictator who says Hitler did some good things!

3 high level generals and former officials appointed by Trump who know him well, said he is a fascist and unfit for the presidency.

But they pay no heed because many of the supporters share a lot his values and would support fascism and a fascist leader at any cost.

Chuck, you are unable to converse without name-calling. There is leadership education that teaches you how to think pragmatically and present a convincing argument without getting personal and derogatory. It would be refreshing to see you change your presentation. It seems that recent politicians need some training too. Just Saying.
