Our Southern neighbors took the high road-Trump promised America the world, maybe this time he can deliver. Good-Bye Chuckers

Mr Trudeau thought he was leading a progressive government that was a pathfinder of future world policy.
A poster boy for the WEF.

Suddenly the whole thing looks like yesterdays bad dream.

      It's all about the economy.
All that other BS is just chaff.

Tariffs and a stronger US$ can't be good for us.

What will the price of imputs be next year at this time?

Will there be the same level of jubilation on Agriville a year from now if the Trump Adm. is the cause of a reduction in our net returns.

Time will tell or, be careful what you wish for comes to mind.

No doubt Canada will be walked all over thanks to a weak leader who is too busy virtue signalling and trying to destroy our resource based economy.

I look at this as short-term pain for long-term gain.
Without a doubt a Harris win would have been better for Canadian manufacturers Canadian oil producers Canadian ag producers. In the short term. The pro energy and anti-war policies will not be good for commodity prices. Protectionism will hurt all Canadian industries.

In the long run, Canada can't charge its own course if the US is actually heading down the fiscal responsibility path (yet to be seen if that will actually be the case. It certainly wasn't true last time around). This should be the end of the anti-energy climate craziness woke ideology. That will most definitely spill over into Canada.

I'm willing to make some short-term sacrifices for the long-term good of both countries.

And just because I know it will get certain members all riled up, the West is far more likely to secede from Canada and join the US under a energy friendly and tariff heavy Trump administration.
Tariffs might be the issue intentionally designed to force us into that outcome.

Similar to a made for TV movie. Based on real events, but in actuality has nothing to do with the real story.

What an excellent strategy, that would never escalate...

Trump has had 72 million votes at this time.
Kamala shows 66 million. About a million more than Hillary got in 2016.

Trump had 2 million more in 2020
Joe Biden had 81 million after all counts . Most ever by any presidential candidate.

Hard to make a case for 20 million immigrants having any influence?

                        But 15 million dems disappeared?
They didn't vote for Trump as he got more last time?
