About the same thing I hate to say. Dealing with some bs that happened with my father’s death shows the beaurorcracy and stupid protocols from upper to lower has really over complicated and made the health system hard to function.

I’ll tell you the story as time has passed long enough I feel I can divulge this. I won’t reveal the place but you probably could figure it out.

My mother and father were just back in town from dad’s dental surgery in the big city. He was fine and all but conked out mid sentence in the passenger seat. Mom rushed him to the hospital but knew he was gone. She went into emergency and told triage he was in the truck and needed assistance. They more or less told her she was dumb and should’ve called an ambulance. Meanwhile this native lady offered to help my mom get dad in a wheelchair but mom thought it was too late. Ambulance was called which upon their arrival told her to drive the truck into the ambulance bay where they put dad on a gurney and the doctors went about doing cpr and using the defibrillator. Worked on him for an hour but was probably gone when he uttered his last word. Lot of the native people rag on this hospital as the place they go to die. Wouldn’t have made a difference for us with dad but could see how much of a shit show the medical system is for those who are in situations like this. I could tell more stories from this place both good and bad. Still a lot of great doctors and nurses there I know on a first name basis but their hands are tied by higher up bs and stupid nasty people at the top.
