Another week on here the rhetoric hopefully will have died down on here. Trump won move one right or wrong decision who knows but americans think its correct, lets not be bedwetters from afar.

My mother bought me an NDP card when I was about 18.

Don't recall renewing it or buying any other.

Used to get 2 or 3 mail in ballots from the Democrats when there was a US election as we have an in law from the US live here occasionally.
They seemed to send them for every address they ever lived at.
We must have been last forwarding address a few times.

Union membership here in days gone by used to automatically make you a Labour Party member our left. But that’s not the case maybe 15 yrs ago even longer.

Union membership no longer compulsory for work sites docks etc

Potential son in law is a crane operator on building sites you know the 30 metre cranes or larger. Thought he would be left leaning nope “without business none of this gets built and I’m out of a job” common sense and wow mega bucks for crane operators pecking order takes a while he’s been with same company since he left school now 32

This is provincial only but in 2020 I joined every political party except the NDP which wouldn't allow me to be a member if I was a member of another party. "I solemnly swear"... Here's one for you Chuck -
