Another thing I don’t get serious this time

The war chest of funds by both parties how do they raise it?

Just hit the phones and ask for $20 or something?

Honestly I’ve never donated a cent to any political party nor been asked?

    Doesn’t happen here.

Or not general public I should say

It’s bloody annoying. God forbid you buy a party membership. Corporates and private citizens get hounded into funding regularly.

Better to have no rules on campaign finance that way the rich and powerful can more easily pick the next government!

            Incumbents are losing worldwide.

And Trump has the billionaires on his side because he is going to deliver tax cuts for the rich again!

Wrong again... just do some simple research.
              1. At least 83 billionaires – two of them centibillionaires with a net worth of more than $100 billion each – are supporting Harris, while 52 billionaires, one a centibillionaire, back Trump.?
              2. Our breakdown records 83 billionaires supporting Harris and 52 backing Trump

So obviously the majority of billionaires are right then! Don't support Trump!

Thank God a few billionaires stepped up for Trump. The Real Deplorables could have won again.

Never held a federal membership and would let provincial membership lapse if it wasn’t for people coming around to renew. I don’t hang around the political scene anymore. I’m not what you’d call a party faithful.

Another week on here the rhetoric hopefully will have died down on here. Trump won move one right or wrong decision who knows but americans think its correct, lets not be bedwetters from afar.

My mother bought me an NDP card when I was about 18.

Don't recall renewing it or buying any other.

Used to get 2 or 3 mail in ballots from the Democrats when there was a US election as we have an in law from the US live here occasionally.
They seemed to send them for every address they ever lived at.
We must have been last forwarding address a few times.

Union membership here in days gone by used to automatically make you a Labour Party member our left. But that’s not the case maybe 15 yrs ago even longer.

Union membership no longer compulsory for work sites docks etc

Potential son in law is a crane operator on building sites you know the 30 metre cranes or larger. Thought he would be left leaning nope “without business none of this gets built and I’m out of a job” common sense and wow mega bucks for crane operators pecking order takes a while he’s been with same company since he left school now 32
