More than a quarter of jobs will be strongly impacted by the net-zero transition
Across the OECD, 20% of the workforce is employed in green-driven occupations, also considering jobs that do not directly contribute to emission reductions but are likely to be in demand because they provide goods and services needed for green activities. Conversely, about 7% of jobs are in greenhouse gas (GHG) -intensive sectors.

As of 2023, 6% of primary energy came from wind and solar.
81% of primary energy came from fossil fuels.
Using your completely believable numbers, 20% of the workforce is employed producing 6% of energy. And 7% of the workforce is employed to produce 81% of energy.
That would indicate that the number of jobs per unit of energy is 38.6 times higher for renewables, than for fossil fuels.
In other words, if you pay those people the same, it will cost 38.6 times more to produce cheap renewable energy, compared to fossil fuels.
For fun, lets scale that up to 100% renewables.
If 6% of energy employs 20% of the workforce, then going to 100% renewables will employ 333% of the workforce.
Do you see any problem with renewables employing more than 3 times the entire workforce?

Say it aint so!
those numbers cant be real
can they
Chuckchuck?
Northvolt is going to declare bankruptcy? No that cant be real! Evs are the future and subsidizing them makes perfect sense!
( i fully expect 0 response from chuck but there will be some new post tomorrow/ saturday about some stupid new renewable study that supports all of chucks renewable " stats/ targets/ expectations" )
This is classic for you chuck.
Dont respond to any actual hard questions that contain damning evidence of REAL WORLD APPLICATIONS AND RESULTS..... but will, days later, deflect and post some silly hot mess about x y or z that will be proven wrong in 2 4 8 months later.
Great money spent. Liberals. Awesome. Just awesome.
Throw some more money to a billion vehicle company for some stupid asinine battery thing that doesnt work and doesnt employ and only lines the pockets of the higher ups.
Incredible.
