Donald's 25% tarrif threat! Merry Christmas!

Geez thanks for the early Christmas president Donald!

Nothing like threatening a 25% tariff on everything, just to cheer up your biggest trading partners.

It's not like Donald was ever able to stop all the drugs and illegals coming into the USA, let alone stop all the criminals and drugs going from the US into your trading partners!

But Donald the dumpster fire makes policies on his smart phone and sends them out on social media willy nilly.

Welcome to the next 4 years of misery for businesses including farmers who will watch as businesses pull back investment and prices for commodities fall based on threats and implementation of bully tariffs on a whim!

I hope some of you Trump supporters are having second thoughts about Trump?

Donald is going to cost you a lot of money, but that's just too bad. Because America comes first don't you know!

Just like Donald comes first! Nothing else matters to Donald.

Trump is interfering in our politics then?

I thought he just wanted the drugs and illegals to stop and more secure border?

That wont be good for PP's image when the tariffs and disruption continue! He will be tarnished and associated with Trump and look like a weakling!

                  Schadenfreude much there chuck?

You don't seem concerned about how this will affect your 6,000 acre farm, only how it will affect your ideological opponents.

Those are just the excuses for tariffs. If it wasn't those, it would be something, or things else to continue the tariffs.

Question is, what are you going to do about it? As said, I hoped his election would not come across borders. Hope fades fast. Buckle up.

                      Trump is misrepresenting tariffs.

They are paid by the importer not the exporter.

They are designed to make imported goods more expensive to give local producers a competitive advantage.

Canada/USA trade is fairly well balanced.

I wonder what it would take to dislodge the blind support of the coalition, so an election could be triggered, and then I read Chuckchuck and I realize, nothing we can do to dislodge the dogmatic.

Canada is screwed by a week constitution with zero checks and balances.

We do need constitutional reform and an election.
