With Premiers like Moe and Smith undermining team Canada approach, Trudeau made the right move and met with Trump as soon as possible.

But the most important issue is if things don't change soon farmers and oil exporters are going to face a world of economic hardship in 2025 and beyond under Trump.

The impulsive child in Trump wants to bully every trading partner into a hasty deal that favors the US. Fix the border issues in 60 days? And stop the drug trade? That's stupid and unreasonable!

We have more of a problem with US guns, drugs and crime coming north than they do going south where they have a lot more resources at the border.

Last time Trump had to pay US farmers for the harm of lost revenue when the US put tariffs on China!

The end of free and fair trade deals is upon us and it's back to a lot more protectionism which hurts Canada more than it hurts the US.

Don't expect any governments or taxpayers to bail you out since most of you support Trump and his crazy ideas!

I certainly agree that there are more guns and drugs coming north than going south. How did Justin Trudeau deals with illegal US guns? He banned the purchase of legal handguns in Canada! How has that worked out? Increasing gun crime! Canada’s government has done little to stem the tide of illegal drugs, Trump has quickly brought the problem into the limelight.

I also agree 25% tariffs will hurt western Canadian farmers as the majority of our canola oil goes state side. And of course the majority of Canada’s largest export oil also goes to the U.S. as well. Tariffs will benefit no one on either side of the border.

As for Premier Smith and Premier Moe not in your view wholeheartedly jumping on the team Canada bandwagon. I certainly support their outlook. You have a Federal government that for the most part is working against western Canada’s interests so I think the 2 Premiers need to be strategic as we know Justin Trudeau is just like Donald Trump and only looks out for himself!

Most of the problems farmers have currently and over time are low market prices and the high cost of production, most of which is not the responsibility of governments.

Saskatchewan paid out another $500 million in Crop Insurance adding to the unexpected $700 million deficit after the hot dry summer again.

But apparently climate change with more weather extremes including more hotter and dryer summers is all good according to some not so bright lights!
