I just can't understand farmers who are dependent on exports and trade wishing Trump well as he plans to put a blanket 25% tariff on everything that will potentially start a trade war that no one will win and will potentially cost you and I a lot of money!

Maybe some of you Trump supporters can explain why you don't seem to care?

global warming/climate change is the second biggest fraud in history right after the china flu /clot shot , so yes tariffs are not the biggest issue at this point in time

                Trump is always a threat.
But he is not wrong on everything.
If our border was managed properly you wouldn't have a gun "problem"

Back to the original premise of your post that Poilievre had a bad week. Below is the latest from Nick Nanos of Nanos Research.

At the rate the liberal support is dropping and the PPC support is increasing, if that continues, within 28 weeks PPC will have more support than the liberals.

Small changes within the margin of error.

So are you and A5 going to tell us how the 25% tariff is going to "save us" like Tsipper? LOL

Nope. I think tariffs can be used as a bargaining chip but the imposition of them generally hurts consumers. The question you have to ask is are tariffs sometimes necessary or justified to protect domestic industries? As an example, 100% tariffs have been imposed on Chinese manufactured EVs. Canadians could purchase much less expensive Chinese EVs like those made by BVD. Personally not interested. But this tariff certainly increases the cost of cars for Canadians. Is the protection of Canadian jobs in this instance justified in your opinion Chuck2?!

As for the original premise of your post, as you can see “Poilievre’s bad week” hasn’t hurt him in the polls. You of course refuse to acknowledge that instead you say “Small changes”.

Still no example of how Trump's 25% tariff on everything will help Canada?

Farmers and auto manufacturers are going to continue to benefit from specific targeted tariffs.

Are you in favour of letting the market decide?

PP certainly isn't when it comes to dairy and poultry! He favours government getting in the way!
