There's actually a precedent for this. White 16 year old Carmen Willis was shot while trespassing on Weibo Ludwig's farm, and no one ever served any jail time.
She wasn't armed, there was no history of violence.

Chuck, I told another Agriviller who lives close to that mayhem that I'm insulated from what's happening in his neighborhood. It's easy to "not understand" when I'm not affected by it or immersed in it.

I can't image I'd want to be "vulnerable" in those situations or be out gunned. Or have a smaller baseball bat, if the gun analogy is offensive and politically incorrect.

It's a mess Chuck. I truly believe there have been improvements. There may be more racism in the older generation than the today's young adults.

Not all Germans were Nazis but it can be hard to shake the stigma and "association".

There has been racism as long as there has been different races and ethnic groups, how long have Middle East nations, ethnic AND RELIGIOUS groups been at each other's throats?

What took generations to create in Canada will take generations to unwind in my opinion. I would never expect this situation to turn on a dime. All I can hope for is progress, ON BOTH SIDES! In my opinion the path is forward looking through the windsheild, not in the past spending more time looking through the rearview mirror. That being said, we must not neglect/forget what happened to cause the predicament/dilemma today.

There is a current indigenous leader who seems more forward thinking/looking than another who seems to dwell in the past of victimhood.

I know a store owner and she said by far the worst time for shoplifting is when a large group of kids come in together after school or a sports event etc , near impossible to watch a group , is she now racist against kids because she tries to minimize theft based on past experience ?

Statistically very safe firearm ownership issues have nothing to do with self defense.
Like vaccines, turning them into one ensures the loss of the discussion.
