The lying Liberals are collapsing in their corruption and even lots of Liberals calling for Trudeau to step down because they have no confidence in him. Yet Jagmeet has confidence in Trudeau!
This is hard for me to understand. Maybe some of the strong NDP supporters on here could explain it to me like I am 5 years old?

Demographics, Canadians who were living during WWI and WW2. National pride would have been very high the following years of those wars. Unfortunately that population would have started to die off rapidly after 1985 -2003

I might throw in recent immigrants who do not yet feel connected to Canada.

Social media, Tic Tok, Instgram, X, Trump Media, Farmer Chat lines.

And finally those that would never be happy no matter where they live and which party is governing , as they always feel hard done by and don't realize how good they really have it living in Canada. There seems to be a growing number of those types now in Canada.

Will PP be able to turn those numbers around??
Much as current government is a pos and reality our country is in a downward spiral we still have it a lot better than a tonne of countries. Politics and views aside our ancestors gave their blood in two world wars and taming a wild land so we could live as comfortably as we do now with a good standard of living. Think we owe it to them to fight for what is right and quash these assholes bent on destroying it.

Considering the unfolding self-destruction of the Trudeau government this week, I assume we should expect another thread entitled pierre Pollievre had a bad week.
Based on past history, this seems to be the pattern.

              In 2003 - 68%

              And now? - 34%
I have my doubts about those stats. In 1978 27% of Canada's population lived in Quebec. That would mean that 100% of all Canadians would have had to answer in the affirmative, and a portion of the nation within a nation known as Quebec. Seems improbable.

an old aging grid that we need to upgrade. Will take billions upon billions upon billions to do.

Hows onTario doin again with their renewables and kwh pricing?

                oh avg 14.1/ kwh
                So nearly double albertas?

hahahha 91 % of ontarios energy in 2021 was produced by renewable energy... with 55% coming from NUCLEAR.
how did that get lumped into renewables?
Still a bargain compared to Germany:

For the second time in a month, Germany’s electric grid has been hit by a wind drought, known in German as a Dunkelflaute. The lack of wind sent Europe’s electricity prices soaring to their highest levels since the end of 2022, when Europe was in the midst of an energy crisis due to concerns about supplies of Russian gas. That’s saying something since Europe — and Germany in particular — now appears to be amid a permanent energy crisis.

Yesterday, German consumers paid an average of $400 per megawatt-hour for electricity. During peak times, prices in Germany’s wholesale power market came close to $1,000 per MWh, the highest level in 18 years

                ?
Who could have predicted that adding that much of the cheapest generation could result in such expensive electricity?

$61.9B budget overspend, unbelievable what these people have done. They couldn’t even keep their promise of overspending by $40B, as if that wasn’t bad enough. And the money just vanishes with nothing to show for it.

Where does one even start to react to this clusterf##k. Old Chucky keeps preaching Trump, Trump, Trump. Well he is just sitting back laughing as Justin Trudeau’s progressive nightmare implodes. Resignation, Prorogation or an election, which will Trudeau chose?!?!

The stats were from Angus Reid.
