A new Angus Reid poll is out and Justin Trudeau is pushing the Federal Liberal’s to an all time low at 16% among decided voters! The longer he sticks around the worse it gets. As a side benefit Jagmeet Singh’s personal approval rating continues to slide. I hope that in 2025 both become part of Canada’s political history! Happy New Year to all!!

Windmills are woke?
So Texas and North Dakota have woke windmills too?
So how much total energy did they produce last year Hamloc?
"In October 2024, Alberta generated 2,217.2 megawatts of renewable energy compared to 7,805.5 megawatts for non-renewable energy. Non-renewable energy generation was down by -4.2% year over year.Nov 21, 2024" The AESO anticipates that renewables will make up 30% of Alberta's electricity supply between 2024 and 2026.
Jeez Hamloc that was 28% for renewables in October meaning you must have used some renewables on your farm! I guess they were working quite a lot! Did the 28% not work on your farm there Hammy? LOL
Your crops only produce during May to October but you still count their annual yield don't you?
Because from November to May your crops and grass produced nothing! Windmills and solar can collect wind and solar energy year round.
Of course concepts like this are hard to understand for those with a grade 5 understanding of science and evidence!
Its the either or crowd! You can lead them to water but they won't drink!Last edited by chuckChuck; Jan 1, 2025, 09:57.

As far as crops. Yes undoubtedly produced in the summer, the key difference is I can store all of it to be withdrawn whenever required, this does not apply to electricity.

Surprisingly it has nothing to do with reducing inflation.
From wokipedia:
"It represents the largest investment towards addressing climate change in United States history."
"including $783 billion on energy and climate change."
"Goldman Sachs predicts a total of $1.2 trillion"
Huge bill with so much spending sprinkled in no one knows where it goes.
Climate subsidies will dry up with Musk doing true inflation reduction.
Hopefully.Last edited by shtferbrains; Jan 1, 2025, 11:05.
