    Chuck only looks at renewables.

    The 55% coal goes unnoticed

But the flat earthers still can't figure out that with electrical generation you can have all types including renewables during the transition!

Over 60% of Canada's electricity is already renewable hydro. Quebec and Manitoba lead the way with the lowest cost electricity in the country by far because of renewable hydro.

In Alberta they don't want any more low cost wind and solar because then they can sell more gas.

Smith is is not following free market economics, she wants to pick winners and losers and sell more gas. Alberta is closed for billions in business investment that dosen't fit her plan!

Who said anything about not needing base load?

Apparently Texas and North Dakota have figured it out and still have a lot of renewables and backup!

So lets have two systems, double triple the costs when ONE would do!

              Idiot

So are Quebec, Manitoba, North Dakota, and Texas rates double or triple? Nope!

Renewables prices are based on zero fuel costs. A big advantage over fossil fuels.

Comparing abundant hydro resources in Quebec and Manitoba to solar and wind is ridiculous. Certainly hydro in those two provinces have proven to be affordable. Hydro is a dependable source of base load power, wind and solar are far from it.

There is no point in debating a flat earther.
He is not open to any facts.

The wind and sun are free.
                    Can't beat free.
