Touring France to Belgium

Hard to say in France , French culture in buildings only it seems .
French culture in people is eroded tremendously and nearly impossible to recognize .
Belgium culture in Brugge very much alive and prevalent, vastly better atmosphere than Paris.
Hopefully get to see some relations today .

Nice enjoy your trip. Belgium was way nicer than Paris. Yes France isn't the same as it once was. Switzerland was awesome and so was Germany

Went to Denmark once.
They treated us very well.
I really enjoy being a tourist in farm country anywhere.
Farmers are always happy to meet other farmers.

The best part of touring around Germany when my Mrs took me a while ago was different beer and bratwurst in every town we stopped in. We have no concept of what “old buildings” mean just like they have no concept of distance and “far away” mean

I visited France and Belgium awhile back. Pretty interesting seeing farmland with a random concrete pill block/bunker in the middle of a field. This was along the Maginot Line area.

stayed on a couple of farms in Germany and visited one for a day in Switzerland.
All tenant farmers it seems. Guy I stayed with just signed a 18 yr lease/rent agreement. Was in process of building a new house on rented land. His family had leased it for 3 generations him being the third.
