    Totally agree Chuck.

We have a competitive advantage with a natural resource that still has more opportunity for expansion if we can get by the regulatory and social issues.
Hydro is proven to provide reliable reasonably priced dispatchable energy.

I don't see any advantages that we have in importing solar panels to Saskatchewan that produce very little for 6 months of the yr.

Contrary top your opinion they produce very well in the southern prairies year round. They actually are producing well during this sunny cold snap producing more than we use.

Mine are putting out 10,000 to 20,000 watts for much of the sunny day. When they are cold they they are more efficient and the reflection of the sun off of the snow helps as well.

Small self-financed system that still requires mainstream backup.
A little different from saving the world.

Most Canadians wont be buying anything Musk makes. Teslas are now toxic in many markets!

Doug Ford is prepared to cancel the Musk contract for Starlink and there is a Canadian option coming.

Way to go Musk! Promote Neo nazis in Germany and elsewhere and reduce your market share just at time that competitors are catching up!

Musk is trying to expose waste and political graft and long term rot in the way tey spend taxpayers money.

I don't have to say he is kind of a weird duck with an obsession for eliminating inefficiency and waste. He put a time limit on it ending the program next July as he doesn't want it to be like most government agencies that outlive their usefulness.

He put together SpaceX with a small group of people in less time and about 1 tenth of the budget of NASA.
He does most of the rocket work for most of the world including NASA.
From AI: SpaceX's launches are significantly cheaper than NASA's, with a Falcon 9 launch costing around $62 million compared to NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) which can cost over $2 billion per launch, making SpaceX's launches roughly 30 times less expensive per launch

Are you saying there is no place for ambitious, intelligent people with connections to Saskatchewan and educated in Canada?

As long as the sun shines yes solar panels are far more efficient when it is cold. Believe it or not biggest factor which reduces power generation and lifespan of solar panels is excessive heat.

"cancel the Musk contract for Starlink and there is a Canadian option coming."

That option uses Musk satellites... sorry. LOVE our Starlink internet!

Canadian option coming is a flag for fact checking right there. Believe that and you're the next candidate to buy a bridge.

Like I said, cc obviously lives close to a tower.
