They are deeply in debt and overspending and Trump wants to cut taxes for the billionaires. Why ask for the debt ceiling to be raised if it is working?

So what is it called when the moron takes us from 600 billion in debt to 1.3 trillion.

        I agree with that.
But I'm not getting misled by our self interested national parties or the media fixation.

Over a decade since I've heard any discussion about our long term economic health.
The virus of trade wars would be easier to withstand with a fundamentally strong body.
Someday if we care to look, this will be judged as a Chicken Little scenario buying into a set of large cons.
Of course you and I don't care.
          We won't outlive our equity.

Will Ontario and Quebec voters start to understand the frustration that western Canada has with the liberals now that Trump is threatening their auto industry, dairy and poultry industries, with little power to stop him. At least for them, the Trump pain will be relatively short.
But for the west it seems like the liberals stop by with their beating stick on a regular schedule.
It may be easier for them to understand now, why the west wants a divorce.

Not until the transfer payments stop.

Quite the move by the PM, three things were accomplished,

                    - liberal businesses were financially rewarded

                    - bought voters in Ontario and Quebec

                    - makes it awkward for Poilievre not to agree

Basically one stop on Trudeau's farewell tour accumulation of as many kickbacks as possible.

3.9 billion dollars to Liberal connected companies that won the bid that nobody saw.
Including his best friends at SNC Lavalin that should not even have been eligible to bid going back to previous record of making payoffs on government contracts.

Nothing will happen. Just another $3.9 Billion down the drain.
They have been doing studies on this since the 70's.

And a boobytrap for Poilievre when he shuts down a Quebec project.
