Dare I even ask what would happen if guaranteed lifelong provincial transfer payments ended?

Furrow you have obviously fallen for Trump's overheated lies about our border and drugs.
The fetanyl crisis is a healthcare crisis. PP wants to put all the addicts in jail with his stupid ideas about trafficking small amounts! That will solve nothing.
The "king pins" are not on the street shooting up. Only fools believe that crap.
Fentanyl crisis is a healthcare crisis , but again why ?
Who are the 'king pins" ?
I watch the Canadian perspective not Trump ..... Your post is full of misleading liberal misinformation covering up a huge problem in Canada created by the liberals themselves...

Yeah Furrow you are falling for PP's simpletons slogans who is looking like Trump lite and spewing "Canada is broken" bullshit. Right out of the Trump playbook!
Trump is a problem because he is attacking our jobs and economy and wants to take us over! Get it?
Who does that after they signed a free trade agreement in their first term? It was "the best trade agreement" according to the senile duffer at the time!
Trumps initial justification for tarrifs was and is still bullshit.
Drugs are indeed a problem but if you are sincere about fixing the problems you don't threaten unrelated tarrifs.
Enforcement at the border hasn't on its own solved the problem at any time in the past. Otherwise the US would have fixed it long ago.
It will take many different approaches not just border enforcement.

Harm reduction, housing, treatment, reasonable criminal enforcement, not criminalization of addiction and small amounts, increasing mental health resources, increased border enforcement and reducing organized crime along with money laundering.
What did I miss?

Those all sound like reasonable answers.
I thought this was going to be like your excuses for why cheapest ever unreliable energy is always so much more expensive than conventional fossil fuel energy, where you always reply that there are many reasons, then fail to list any that aren't conspiratorial.
