Not mentioning they're capped at 1/4 - 1/3 of total generation is the information ommision.

Looking at China where solar etc are growing nicely. And pollution a real concern.
Coal alone, not counting other fossils, will account for 60% for the foreseeable future.
They have a 2050 projection to cut that in half.
Let's see if they place the projection above economic security demands.

Around 25- 35% in ND and TX if my memory is correct.
My solar system produces on average the same as my annual usage about 35,000 kwh

The southern prairies have very good potential for solar.
Alberta has 1138 MW installed capacity in 2022. And more was installed.
Solar and wind were growing so fast Danny had to find a bunch of excuses and red tape to slow it down!
Her motto now: Alberta is closed for "renewable" business investment!
The party of free enterprise wants to pick the winners and losers! LOL
