Coal alone, not counting other fossils, will account for 60% for the foreseeable future.
They have a 2050 projection to cut that in half.
Let's see if they place the projection above economic security demands.

What percentage do these renewables supply to the grid vs base load staples? Better yet what percentage of power does your solar array generate vs what you get off the grid? Not knocking your intrepid venture but parroting the same stuff without some real world data is like me saying your momma wears army boots and you stink like fish.

I just looked it up, there are no grid scale solar installations in North Dakota, why do you suppose that is Chuck2? But you are correct 36% from wind, oldest wind installation is over 20 years old.

The southern prairies have very good potential for solar.

Alberta has 1138 MW installed capacity in 2022. And more was installed.

Solar and wind were growing so fast Danny had to find a bunch of excuses and red tape to slow it down!
