Big government just found out that you can push the people just so far for so long. At some point the people will revolt and call BS. (Of course, the big revolt will come at the polls.) The convoy went to Ottawa and asked to meet with Trudeau and he would have nothing to do with calm discussion and reason.
Where is the “strong and free” in Canada? The big hammer, the War Measures Act was used against peaceful citizens. The world was watching, that’s where the foreign donors came from. But that was not the end of it.
Now in comes the invisible hand and our “leaders” see their power challenged by forces outside their control. Can Canada be saved internally?- not without constitutional change. We need an American-style government that gives equal power and representation to every province and allows the people an elected senate. There’s no way the East will give up their disproportionate power willingly. It’ll be the East against the West instead of pulling together. So here we are, at an important crossroad. Does the West continue to waste precious resources and energy fighting Big Government? Fast Forward 100 years.
This is MHO.

Neither Chuck nor yourself seems to want to comment about that.
All blockades are illegal, railway, pipeline, border blockades, eco, etc etc.
The NFU's blockade does fall within the meaning of "ALL".
By all means post your exception to any of the above, especially participants who are able to distinguish the difference between them.
Still waiting, so rather then turtling up and deflecting let's hear the usual casserole of words from you distinguishing the difference between your border blockade participation at Coutts and "ALL" the other blockades.

I need a little clarity, in 2015 Justin Trudeau proudly declared Canada was the worlds first “post-national state”! We now have MP’s who proudly supported this Prime Minister for almost a decade proudly supporting Canadian nationalism in the face of Trump. Who are the biggest hypocrites?!?!

"Who are the biggest hypocrites?!?" You asked?
You and your buddies on Agrisilly Hamloc!
Especailly A5 who supported an illegal blockade at the Coutts border and also supported the criminals who committed serious crimes there!
But rules and laws are for the other guys!Last edited by chuckChuck; Feb 18, 2025, 08:46.

"Ethics Commissioner Dion did not find that any actual political interference in the prosecution occurred".
But Dion issued a report that concluded that Trudeau had contravened Section 9 of the federal Conflict of Interest Act .
Lets see if the RCMP follows through and investigates Danny Smith and the Premiers office in Alberta in what looks like a strong case for corruption at the highest level!

I agree Prime Ministers have too much power and should serve based on support of their caucus. If they eff up the caucus can remove them. Just like Britain does
