    Hiring quotas are decades old.
    Before DEI was an acronym.
    Not saying they're right.
Filipinos are the hardest working people I can think of.

Not much changes if you can't foster a better education ethic in our own population.

Guess you are not old enough to remember when pilots had to be men.

My buddy worked in the Middle East specifically the emirates. Same story goes for there and Saudi Arabia. Anyway, most of the population is taken care of by the government and many wealthy folks. Most of the actual work is done by foreign nationals while the residents assume the glory positions so to speak. They do go to school but it amounts to the same as taking your nh3 handling ticket where you watch a movie and sign your ticket. Lots of airliner “captains” couldn’t fly the damn plane but they love to assume the position. Very entitled society. Kinda like DEI but other way around.

No, I am not. I wasn't even born in 1970 when Rosella Bjorson became the first Canadian commercial airline pilot. I doubt even you were alive in the 1930's when the first Canadian women obtained their commercial pilots license.
I can't find anything saying they were ever prohibited.

How is that related to quota's based on imaginary identifications such as gender etc. in 2025?

So you think there was no discrimination on the basis of gender or race?

So now that that discrimination has been pushed back on, you are complaining that it is woke problem?

Don't be too hard on agstar. He has been liking Chuck's posts for so long that he probably thinks that deflection, putting words in other people's mouths and straw man arguments are the way it is supposed to be done.

What discrimination? You failed to list even a single example.
