    Yes true they charge more for students here on visas. A lot more. Could be triple or more depending on where. I’m generalizing here. But if they play the game, and they apply for asylum while attending University in their first year, they could be a Canadian Citizen by year 2, and then pay the same tuition as the “Real Canadians”. But they still have the DEI advantage and the advantage of being “New Canadians”. Some Universities play into this more than others, especially in the East.

      Governments used to provide a lot more low cost housing. In Saskatchewan they still do especially for seniors.

      And many Conservative ridings are using the federal housing incentives to get more housing built.

      So governments do have a role to play in increasing housing.
