    Intergenerational Trauma

4 indigenous communities have declared a state of emergency in BC in response to a multitude of drug overdose deaths in young people.
They blame the scourge on intergenerational trauma induced by their experience with residential schools. And that experience may have left it’s ugly mark for generations. Just want to juxtapose here. What about the Intergenerational trauma imposed on Western Canada by over a hundred years of abuse by the Eastern elites? Never was it so blatantly evident as during the two Trudeau terms.

Ohh cry us a river poor some dumb guy! Cue the violins!

Alberta and Saskatchewan are relatively wealthy provinces with higher per capita GDP!

And Trader Joe is a real bigot and racist for calling all first nations lazy after they were colonized, lost their land and resources and were forced on to uneconomic reserves and had to put up with decades of the kind of racism shown by Trader Joe!

We share in the responsibility for their situation Trader Joe.

BC Conservative leader John Rustad had to throw out the bigots and racist from his party who were spouting residential school denialism. Good riddance!

Looks like M Carneys dad Robert Carney wrote several articles on the positives of residential schools , will be interesting to see what Mark has to say on subject

Yes as a matter of fact our governments on our behalf have settled many land claims and given land back to first nations!

And Stephen Harper a Conservative apologized in the House for the residential schools and the abuse first nations suffered.

So you fringe bigots should try to join the mainstream Conservative thinking instead of reverting to outdated ideas from the last century!

Actually chuck, they didnt deny residential school trauma.. but rather just tweeted that no bodies had been found at the kamloops residential school site. Which isnt wrong. Infact its correct.
This was pretty gutless for a premier to not stand behind his mla when they stated fact.
Even the indigenous led team that was doing the surveys changed their wording from " bodies found" to " anomalies found"; but this was, of course , not reported in the media .

                Quick question.

Manitoba is spending how much to dig up a landfill in order to find some bodies of missing indigenous women. WHICH THEY SHOULD .

But, after having been told there are hundreds of bodies.. of children no less... at various residential schools in Canada... and how much money spent on the inquiries etc... there hasnt been 1 official dig to find any bodies?
i question that logic. And no. Im not racist. So dont try to flip this one back on me.

Just circle that square for me.
