Well King Carney eliminated the consumer carbon tax with the stroke of a pen yesterday. It is small comfort really. In a March 14 article by David Staples he quotes Stephen Guilbeault “And you should remember that our climate change plan doesn’t rest on one or two measures. It’s more than 100 measures that we’ve deployed over the years”. God help us if King Carney wins the next election.

There is only one reason they're suspending it. Try to hold on to power.
Are Canadians going to be foolish enough to fall for this election ploy. There is no way in hell they'd suspend or repeal it if the Liberals had a clear path to a majority government.
I doubt alot of Canadians realize the cumulative affect this tax has had on their cost of living, and the gubmint rebate wouldn't come close to that added cost.
Where we're at, and what we're dealing with(everything) today is almost surreal. It's like a nightmare dream I can't wake up from.

All the legislation is still active.
He can reinstate it as easily as he zeroed it.
He is a world class climate activitist.
He had been very successful at setting a high bar for ESG policy that that we were seeing right down to the things you sign to sell grain or get loans. That was Carney's leadership on that.
He came here because that is all falling apart .
He believes he is doing us a favor by making us the most virtuous society in the world.
Sound familiar?
Only he is capable of making it happen. He sold it to the biggest bankers in the world so selling it to voters that voted Justin in 3 times might still work?

You can really tell PP and the far right fringe are really worried when they start posting speculation about Carney reinstating the consumer carbon tax after he just cancelled it! LOL
PP and the CPC are having a really difficult time moving on to the number one election issue Trump, tariffs and his attack on Canada because a small number of traitors in the CPC support Trump and it's hanging like a mill stone around PPP's neck at the moment.
