What the wild left doesn’t realize is that Trump wants a liberal Governent as he knows Alberta and hopefully Saskatchewan will split making them an easy target for them. Canada will be extremely broken apart an vulnerable if we end up with a liberal government.

Much as I'd like to agree, I don't see that happening. Just being realistic.

Just Thinking: Why does Trump want Carney to win? Well, here’s what I think. Trump going to dismantle supply management and all “special Canadian exemptions” and he wants a Liberal to do it. He knows what will happen to Polly if its done during his keep. Better to have the righteous one in command. You know, the “smart” one. Wink-wink

SDG, I can't see that happening but if it does what is it going to cost us?

As much as I hate to say it, maybe Trump and Carnage both speak the same language...economics(and I truly think one is more fluent at it than the other)? What did Trump and Trudeau have in common and there wasn't any love-in between the two of them. Trump never respected Trudeau and I honestly didnt think he deserved an ounce of respect either! We all knew his lack of credentials. Next question would be what kind of relationship would Trump and Poilievre have, we haven't seen or heard much on that front, has there been "any" interaction between the two?

                Re American relations...
Trudeau was in hopelessly beyond his capabilities, even with help.
Carnage should almost be able to hold his own.
Poilievre, in all likelihood will need a good team behind him.

There will need to be a dynamic balancing act in dealing with the US and China and between interprovincial borders and the affects of those relationships.

                ....not real comfortable.

                  Does that translate into

Jagmeet Singh is responsible for the creation of the west seceding from the rest of Canada and becoming their own nation or joining/creating a bigger United States of America?

Maybe it's as simple as DT parties like it's 1899. Swiping all the game pieces to the floor just to see what happens. Don't believe looking past today very far, certainly not past 2028.
All he sees is the snot nosed JT fired.
Not sure if Carney's "experience" dining with the Pope, or PPs lack thereof even registers. ?? He didn't like being dissed by PP.
                    Today he "likes" Carney.
We'll be living with Carney's ulterior motives long after DT in the history books.
We're betting everything on the whim of a short angry storm.

Isolationism has always been a strong undercurrent in American culture. Something that hasn't surfaced for 86 years.
Seeking a Euro Saviour like we did then won't work so well this time.
Thinking my screw Carney flags will be up for a long time.
