    Make Canada an Energy Superpower

Many in western Canada would like to see the energy sector be able to operate without stifling government regulations.
A $40 billion dollar project like LNG Canada ot Kitimat is not attractive to investment if you don't sell anything for 10 0r 12 yrs.
Carney make it sound like he is going to fix that in this spiel in Calgary, Canada's energy capital.

The problem is nowhere does he ever say O&G projects like LNG plants.
It's all about renewable. Don't ask why just do it.
When he talks O&G it's always his ESG/Climate Cartel gibberish about reducing emissions and making them attractive to places like Germany where they are enacting Carney's proposed tariffs to equalize costs of emission regulations.
It's like he is going to do Alberta a favor by loading more regulatory on traditional energy?

But all you will see in the headlines tomorrow is Carney will make us an Energy Superpower and Newguy will say I told you so.

You have to click on the video to get the sound.

Here's a promo Ontario LPC candidates are using.
I doubt you will see this in Calgary?

So the folks who are opposed to investing in renewable energy as part of making Canada and energy super power better explain why increasing solar, wind, hydro, geo thermal capacity is bad for business?

The business case and economic benefits are strong. That's why North Dakota and Texas have lots.

Is PP going to argue against making Canada an energy super power by suggesting governments pick winners and losers in the free market like Danny Smith?

Her position, is renewables bad, oil good and lets find a way to put more red tape and regulations in place to makes sure renewables don't succeed! It the UCP way!

We can't let the renewable sector reduce demand for gas and oil can we?

Nope! Better to put up some hippo critical road blocks that don't apply to oil and gas as fast as possible! LOL

Liberal Hide and Seek at it's finest ! answer a question with another question! Ontario will seal our fate again , but I think this time ( if the bastards get elected ) there's going to be some western lines drawn in the sand. Here's hoping we don't have to go that far , but ...... maybe we should.

Even Trudeau built the TMX while he was "killing" the oil industry!

Only 4 million barrels per day going south and they are still living in poverty by the sounds of it!

To hear Danny Smith talk about how "oppressed" Alberta is you would think it is the poorest province in the country!

Not the province with the highest GDP per capita!

She is doing a good job defending her oil business supporters and friends with hyperbole and fake news!

Chuck2 how will installing more solar and wind make us richer? Solar panels are not manufactured anywhere in Canada, Windmills are not manufactured anywhere in Canada. What exportable resource do solar panels and windmills create? You have yet to show us one jurisdiction where the addition of solar and wind to the grid has lowered electricity prices. I have put forward articles in which the authors have provided graphs and explanations as to why and how the addition of solar and wind to the grid has increased consumer electricity prices. Yet you come back with the same tired argument, look at Texas and North Dakota. I remember when I was young my Parents went to visit relatives in North Dakota, after Dad came back all he talked about was the wind, how it never quit. Maybe the geography makes wind make sense but that geography doesn’t exist everywhere. Just like Alberta, we have less potential hydroelectric power than Manitoba. Not every jurisdiction is suitable for the application.

Alberta has some of the best wind and solar resources in Canada Hamloc!

The fuel is free and you can be free of a resource that is volatile in price.

Yeah its hard to make excess profits off of the free energy that powers wind and solar so that's why Alberta Conservatives don't like it. Its too cheap!

What is the exportable resource for Alberta? The campaign slogan for solar is “Let’s make China richer.”
