Poilievre avoiding tough questions and trying to control the media

PP is showing his true colours.

His Trump lite attempts at controlling who gets to ask questions, so he doesn't have to answer hard questions is backfiring!

The Liberals and all the other parties allow the media much more access and don't shy away from making their case and supporting their campaign platform.

Every campaign except the CPC and PP allow the media to travel with them to every stop.

If you have a good campaign and ideas you shouldn't be shy about defending them at every chance!

But PP is running scared because the media is the enemy of the people!

        Doesn't matter.
Chuck will be right or wrong when the polls close in Ontario anyway.
The West I know doesn't want in anymore. It wants a whole new deal altogether.

If PP had any kind of chance, he keeps blowing it again and again by looking and sounding like tRump lite when it comes to the media and many other issues!

I think they will fire the campaign organizers and probably the leader after the dust settles.

PP is running a campaign to keep his opposition job now. You can already tell he has about given up by returning to his culture war rhetoric instead of trying to expand his appeal beyond the core base.

He has told the party that the polls are reliable and he wont question the results of the election like his republican friends and liars in the US have done.

The Conservatives love to hate the media and hard questions they can't answer.

Science and evidence are on their hit list too!

And it's all packaged as a nice WEF conspiracy too!

No, Chuck will be right no matter what. As you may have noticed, he has never admitted to being wrong about anything ever.

Your last statement is so very true. What an opportunity lost. Instead of making and amicable deal with the West when they still wanted in, the rest of Canada snubbed their noses at the west and now we want out instead.

You can leave anytime you want Alabama 5.

Sell the farm for the visa and and for private healthcare and you should be good!

Just think of how little tax you will have to pay in Alabama!

It's only a small fringe of chronic complainers who would want to separate. Do you think the NDP who took 44% of the Alberta vote want to separate A5?

Not a chance Jethro, but you can dream all you want or just start packing! ?

And the next Prime Minister will be an Albertan named Carney so you might get a better deal!

Carney wants to campaign on the Trump will destroy us platform.
Poilievre wants to campaign on the LPC party 's record and how much damage they did to Canada in so many ways.
MSM just want the Orange Man Bad all day every day.

If conservatives policy resembles what got Trump elected, that must be Trump lite?

Considering how much further Canada has fallen relative to the us. I think Trump lite is not what we need right now. We need Trump extra duty just to get back to where the US was when they elected Trump to fix their problems.
Chuck is right. Campaigning as Trump lite has been a mistake.

I said a new deal. Didn't say seperate necessarily but I would vote yes if.
                    There are irrefutable points.
Our system doesn't work well outside of ON and QC. No one can change it.
                    Not from Ottawa anyway.
And yes, all dense urban centers will be like minded.

All or none statements are just fight starters. Chuck learned nothing during Covid. Except to keep affirming his PA actions.
If we had a functioning system his Wheat Board would've been gone a generation sooner. He's been a Lost Cause thinker since.

Carney left an Alberta city while a youth, for university and hasn't been back. He hasn't lived in our culture since boyhood. He hasn't even lived in Canada for much of his career.

Rural Issues seems to be an echo chamber reflecting our political reality.
Rural population a majority locally only. Being treated like a museum exhibit.

So in the real world Chuck's Trump like behavior wins eventually.
Doesn't not make him full of it.

Alabama not the end of the world.
Chuck hasn't been there anymore than he's been to ND or TX.
