tRump lite Poilievre loses his own seat!

I wonder if PP got the message?

Losing a 20 point lead against a tired government, when incumbents have been turfed out in many places is a remarkable result.

But to lose your own (safe) riding should send a message to the CPC that PP was really a serious drag on their political fortunes.

Perhaps bringing coffee and praising the rag tag illegal convoy blockaders and assorted fringe in Ottawa wasn't such a good idea after all?

Had the CPC chosen a more likable and better leader who didn't sound so much like tRump, you can't help thinking that they should have won easily.

If Carney performs well and PP sticks around, its possible the CPC wont do much better next time.

The backlash against tRump will inevitability deepen as he blows up the constitution and the economy, which puts PP's abrasive and divisive politics at a disadvantage again.

Lets hope the CPC caucus figures this out and sends PP packing! On second thought letting PP stick around might be a good idea!

With Conservative infighting on full public display last night with Jamil Jivani criticizing Doug Ford and calling him a "hype man for the Liberals" you can't help thinking that the CPC is a really divided party. Nothing like conservatives pissing each other off in the biggest vote rich province that will be hit hard by tRump!

Ontario was the elections problem. It was the same problem in many elections previously also. Voter reform in this country is long overdue.

Also, Jughead Singh is the man who propped the Liberals up to get his pension. They stayed in power because of the NDP for 2 years longer than they should have.

Sorry Chuck , those are the real facts.

So are you in favour of proportional representation 500?

Because the liberals would still win this election with the higher percentage of the vote.

At least Carney didn't declare himself King like Donny tRump!

And start ripping the constitution apart!

By the way what happened to Grain Farmer who repeatedly said all the polls were wrong?

I agree chuck, Trump lite wasn't what Canadians need right now.

To fix the mess left behind by a decade of Trudeau, we need someone much more serious than Trump. Pollievre definitely isn't that. A lightweight compared to the task at hand.

On a positive note, after another term of Trudeau lite, there won't be anything left worth salvaging. We can all go our separate ways.
