Pierre Poilievre on indigenous protests and blockades

"When Indigenous People protest and blockade it is wrong and the government has laws and tools in place to deal with it.

“These blockaders are taking away the freedom of other people to move their goods and themselves."

Yup that's what Pierre Poilievre said in Feb 2020. Wow! Look like he is doing an Ohtool flip flop on protests! LOL

PP supports the Ottawa occupation that is taking away the rights and freedoms of those who live in Ottawa. As a consequence PP supports the shut down of many businesses in Ottawa while the occupiers hold a 10 day party? Mot to mention all the confederate and nazi flags along with all the lawlessness, bullying, harassment and intimidation.

Not only that he is supporting an occupation that with their memorandum calls for the government to be overthrown? So now PP has to explain why he wants to run a party and lead a country that condones letting protestors off all types make government policy and overthrow government.

So with all his apparent previous baggage, now PP has to explain how he was opposed to indigenous blockades, but now supports antivaxer blockades and occupation. Good luck with that Pierre!

Yes indeed back on the farm. Weekend away. You gotta a problem with that?

So why do you think Pierre opposes some protest and blockades but now supports antivaxer protests and blockades?

      Fast forward to 2022, @PierrePoilievre
when #FreedomConvoy blockades Ottawa, the US border and cities. (A predominantly white Protest)

He portrays #TruckerConvoy as "hard working, law abiding, peace loving truckers who are fighting for their freedom". #Hypocrite

The difference between this protest and other protests is that most other protests are made in order to further their own agenda, this protest is on behalf of all Canadians to get our freedom back from a corrupt and over reaching government.

They are protesting for you as much as anyone else so that we all have the right to have an opinion and a choice over our own bodies, and lives.

When you say “Good luck with that Pierre” (by the way thanks for good wishes) I think deep in every Canadian soul we are all wishing him nothing but the best because deep down, even the most hard core liberals know something has to change.

STR Dream on. The vast majority of Canadians are vaccinated and have support mandates and covid measures to reduce the negative impacts of covid.

And they sure as hell don't support the obnoxious "party" on parliament hill that is taking away the freedom of residents and businesses in Ottawa.

I see that Pierre's P. flip flop on blockades and support for the current one in Ottawa are not attracting as many hypocritical "excuses" from the usual suspects.

Far be it for anyone on here to be hypocritical. Supporting Native rail blockades and BLM riots but not this protest.
I'm not a protester in any way.
But I'm pissed at the blatant double standard representation.
You can't dare discuss an action by a non white for risk of rebuke and accusation.
But any white redneck hillbilly honks a horn and we're going full retard.
(Lots of turbans in the convoy, thank you immigrants for reminding us what democracy allows)
Pierre may have done a flip flop.
But some on here, who must work for the CBC, scream racism rather than discuss anything, or scream insurrection rather than think for themselves.
(The rail blockades cost the entire country billions while justin hid)
The quickest here to shrill and point fingers contribute more to polarization than an idiot waving a swastika. (Except perhaps a certain black face actor we know).

Actualy more appropriate to revise that to say those people wern't eligable to vote in Canada.
